Habitat:
False Albacore are found in tropical, subtropical, and temperate waters, commonly in the 60 to 66 degrees range.

Diet:
The albacore diet consists of fish, squid, and crustaceans. Albacore feed in schools, which sometimes consist of other tuna-family members, and the schools may be found around floating objects such as sargassum weeds. They will feed at middle depths, but ordinarily feed close to the surface.
